Visit Italia

Ciao, Ciao.

I attended a virtual travel show with Visit Italy this week. Wow.

I met with some terrific hotels, villas, Ferrari and Lamborghini touring companies, food and wine companies that handle everything from Truffle hunting to olive oil tasting to pasta and risotto cooking classes, destination management companies, and more.

There is no doubt that CNN’s Stanley Tucci show “Searching for Italy” is resonating with viewers across Canada and the US. And my partners in Italy are aware that we’re all still stuck at home, and dreaming of being in Italy. Tonight is the last of the 6 part series, and it’s about Sicily. I can hardly wait. Here’s an article to help you get in the spirit for tonight’s episode (and thank goodness it’s been renewed) What To Know About Stanley Tucci: Searching For Italy

It’s been so much fun, meeting with partners in Italy live on a zoom-like platform.

I have to tell you that the Ferraris and Lamborghinis got my attention. Can you imagine that for a unique team building or family getaway? I’m meeting with partners in Italy this week that do this kind of stuff all the time – they can bring the cars to wherever you are. You can drive them by yourself in the countryside, on a race track, or with a professional driver giving you driving and handling tips . Does this pique your interest? Give this a watch about an Incentive trip in Rome with supercars:

Maybe you’re more into hiking? Would you like to hike the Dolomites? Watch this vidieo https://vimeo.com/323445025

I also met with some terrific hotels like the Relais and Chateau Meridiana in Portofino. Who wants to go to the Italian Riviera? And see their colourful seaside villages, that stand out for their beauty. That’s Liguria, a unique palette. https://www.instagram.com/p/CMe1A2gF1O9/
Maybe you wants to go to Verona? ? “In fair verona where we lay our scene”: this famous line belongs to “Romeo and Juliet” by William Shakespeare. The tragedy is set in Verona, which is also called “the city of lovers” for this reason.https://www.instagram.com/p/CMhgwSdFG6l/
Or perhaps you want to go hiking in Lake Como is something you’d like to learn more about! Hiking on our mountains and I’m more than ready to lead you to discover and enjoy the beauty of the nature that surrounds Lake Como, in full safety!⠀⠀⠀⠀
Or maybe the Amalfi Coast.  What would you do if you had a couple of days to spend in this beautiful part of the world? Have you been to Capri? Repost @discoitaly No holiday in the Amalfi Coast would be complete without a trip to the evocative Island of Capri. Sail across the bay of Naples for the start of an unforgettable day, sitting by its open-air cafes, walking medieval looking alleyways and arcades full of shops selling the handicrafts of island, visiting the incredible blue grotto. https://www.instagram.com/p/CMmWQ2bFP3-/
