Visit Fogo Island Inn

I have a talk scheduled about Fogo Island Inn in Newfoundland. It’s taking place this Friday, March 9th at 1 pm at Petit Bill’s Bistro in Ottawa. Want to join us, if you’re in Ottawa?
If you’re free this Friday, do come!
Join myself, as an ex-pat Newfoundlander, with Diane Hodgins (Chief Financial Officer at Shorefast Foundation + Fogo Island Inn) to learn about Newfoundland’s Fogo Island Inn. Come and hear about Fogo Island Inn, a select member of the National Geographic Unique Lodges of the World; and learn what sets it apart amongst sustainability tourism leaders and Virtuoso partners.
Here are two videos my daughter helped me with.
Here’s a one minute overview.
And here’s a longer 2.5 minute overview that showcases some of the rooms, etc.
I hope you might like to visit this spectacular inn in Newfoundland.
Want to be inspired? Watch this video by innkeeper, Zita Cobb.

Come join us for lunch this Friday, March 9th at 1 pm at Petit Bill’s Bistro – and learn also about a unique May long weekend getaway this spring with the “Architect in Residence,” Todd Saunders, at the Fogo Island Inn for May 18-21, 2018. Some details here http://www.fogoislandinn.ca/b/itinerary/architect-todd-saunders-residence – but, of course, as a Virtuoso partner, I have a couple of special things we’ll offer too.
Join us at Petit Bill’s Bistro (a French bistro with a Newfoundland flair) for lunch this Friday. Their location will serve as the venue for the presentation, which is fitting – since it is owned by fellow ex-pat Newfoundlanders, Randy & Terry FitzPatrick. Attendees can order food and beverage from the bistro’s varied menu (which includes several traditional Newfoundland offerings). Join us for a special luncheon presentation!
