I believe in connection. Travel itself builds connections. It connects us - to other people, cultures, and traditions. It allows us to immerse ourselves in the unfamiliar.
I work hard to connect myself to my clients. I discover what is important to them when they travel, and work to build that relationship connection. I also keep in touch with my clients with weekly travel newsletters, host in-person and virtual travel events (over 40 during the pandemic thus far), use social media channels (facebook, twitter, linkedin, instagram, youtube, etc), host a blog of what's new and interesting and emerging in travel, and maintain a website. I also work hard to connect myself to my travel supplier colleagues. I build those relationships through travel trade shows, and working with them on client bookings, so I am able to leverage those relationships to help my clients better see the world.
Through travel, we can experience adventure. I work hard to connect my clients to the destinations they visit. I believe we become better global citizens through travel. We can embrace adventure, explore the world, and learn new things. We can take bucket list adventures.

I believe in processes and systems. I love taking care of the details. As Pico Iyer says, "luxury is what you don't have to worry about." So, I provide you the luxury of serenity.
Your serenity comes from excellence. I am a driven individual, and am committed to excellence. I received top marks and scholarships all through high school and university. In sports, I had a 747 batting average in softball, and earned my black belt in Tae Kwon Do. In my financial work, I was the first female actuary in the Canadian government, and was awarded the Centenary Medal.
Atop a foundation of 20+ years specializing in financial risk, I built my travel expertise brick-by-brick. I surround myself with the best-of-the-best travel suppliers to ensure my clients have access to top notch experiences. I am happy to move from my former specialty in Return on Investment to optimizing my clients Return on Life.

I believe in continuing education, and I've earned travel industry specializations in river cruising, ocean cruising, expedition cruising, and various destination (Aussie Specialist, Anguilla specialist, Disney specialist, adventure travel specialist, etc.). I believe in continually improving my product knowledge.
I am committed to staying on the cutting edge of travel, and follow emerging trends. This is particularly important in travel post-pandemic, as advisors have to stay on top of places opening, where clients can or cannot fly, health and safety protocols, and government advisories.
I do inspections of cruise ships and hotels, and I regularly attend (in person, and virtually) travel trade shows such as Virtuoso Travel Week and road shows, and trade shows such as ATW (Africa Travel Week). Malcolm Gladwell says you have to invest at least 10,000 hours in an endeavour to achieve mastery and greatness, and I have far succeeded that investment time. I believe my clients' stellar reviews of my services is proof of the magic I can bring to your holidays.
