What a wonderful week I’ve just had on the Rocky Mountaineer with my group. We had an amazing time.
We started off touring in Vancouver (after being picked up by a stretch limo!), and even though it was raining, we toured Capilano Suspension Bridge, Grouse Mountain, and Capilano River salmon hatchery. A little rain on vacation doesn’t interfere with touring. We had a great time.
And of course, the two days onboard the Rocky Mountaineer were absolutely fabulous. I would highly recommend this form of travel. Gold leaf class has a separate dining car, with five star dining and freshly prepared meals that highlight Canadian ingredients and cuisine.
