So, leaning on that article, here are the 4 A’s as to why you should work with me.
The advice that I am able to give is what initially attracts a consumer to me as their travel advisor. It’s having someone who is validating your choices.
What comes with my advice is my access; especially when clients look at Virtuoso Travel Week and the face-to-face interactions that take place (see above) and the relationships that I form there. The access I have as an advisor is because of the personal relationships. That is amazing and not something consumers could ever have on their own.
As a client, your mind might not initially consider this, but to have someone serve as your advocate throughout the entire trip is invaluable. For example, if your connecting flight is cancelled, as your advisor, I know, and I can have my air desk book a new connection the moment you land. It’s about having someone who is solely invested in making sure each trip goes exactly as it should, and when it doesn’t, I can step in.
And that’s where the accountability comes in. When clients work through an online channel, there is no recourse through a human being; even trying to navigate around a website to find the 800 number can be challenging. As your advisor, I can help on two fronts: First, I’m an actual person who can help you, my client. 🙂 Second, within Virtuoso, we have these amazing relationships with major buying power (the aggregated buying power of this organization is $15 billion) so suppliers are also invested in ensuring that Virtuoso clients travel well. It’s the added security of knowing that relationship – which is mutually dependent – is working toward a solution for the consumer.
