Tauck's MS Savor – a Wonderful Inaugural Sailing

574I just returned from sailing on Tauck’s MS Savor – the inaugural sailing. It was wonderful. I have a couple of little video clips of my cabin (a category 6 on deck 2, #213). And here are some other videos to show you a little of the ship. It is beautiful!
585I didn’t get a video of the main dining room for some reason, but here’s a picture of it. And you can see that I got to meet, and have dinner!, with Arthur and Ronni Tauck the first night in the Compass Rose dining room.

I would highly recommend river cruising. Have a quick look at these videos and find out why!  It is so quiet when you are sailing – you can hear birds chirp!  I tried to keep the video clips to 15 seconds (so I could upload them to instagram), and I’ve inserted several here to give you an overview about what the ship is like, and what river cruising is like.

I do have some longer videos that I’ll put in some blogs and perhaps highlight next week – one with Arthur Tauck giving an interview to our entire group, and another where I personally interview Mary Murrin and encourage her to give us a tour of Tauck’s suites – which can accommodate 3 people comfortably (and for Tauck Bridge’s family river cruise sailings, can accommodate 4! That’s unparalleled in river cruising!)  I also will feature Tauck’s new loft cabins – a category 3 innovation – it sleeps 2 people, but, there is also a sitting area above the sleeping area, maximizing the light and viewing on what would normally be lower level cabins on deck 1. It is incredible.
Enjoy!  And – call me to book your next river cruise!
