New York City – Want the VIP Treatment?

I’ve had some fun researching and organizing a couple of trips to NYC for clients this week.  The really cool thing of being affiliated with Vision 2000, and being a member of the Virtuoso consortium, is that I now have the resources to put together top-notch itineraries for my clients.

One of our Virtuoso partners in New York City is Kitt Garrett of Destination New York, our onsite specialist.  Just the week alone, I’ve solicited the assistance of my buddies at Kitt Garrett to craft some really neat packages – stuff that goes above and beyond the regular hotel and air combo.  See http://www.dnykg.com/

There is so much to see and do in New York, and there really is no way to see it all and do it all in a couple of days.  However, a quick conference call between my clients and I with my contacts at Kitt Garrett, and we’re able to focus in on what is most important. This personal contact helps us put together some nifty stuff, and really adds value to the city escape.

Here are some samples of what I’ve been working on:

a.) a 6 hour private shopping experience through the Garment Center : Explore the buildings in the Garment Center with your expert shopping guide to find the hidden Sample Sales with discounts up to 70%. These wholesale showrooms are not available to the public.  These unique retail locations are a real insider’s look at the world of what department store buyers see.  This the perfect experience for bargain hunters, fashionistas, and all-around power-shoppers, and the shopping experience will be focused on the fashion items that the clients are most interested in – dresses, jeans, handbags, jewelry, shoes, etc.  Complete with expert shopping guide, and an executive van driver.

b.) a 6-Hour Private Guided Experience with a Gospel brunch in Harlem and then Harlem overview with visit to St. John the Divine and then treasure hunt the Metropolitan Museum of Art with DNY Expert Guide. Transportation by Executive van.

c.)  a Madeline Tea / lunch at the Carlyle Hotel – fun for the family, but especially fun for little girls.  http://www.thecarlyle.com/i/pdf/madelineteamenu.pdf

d.) a private rehearsal studio experience with a cast member from MEMPHIS where the client can learn a song and dance routine from the show.

e.) VIP treatment for clients at a Virtuoso hotel, with special amenities that I’d negotiated on their behalf

Remember, you can’t VIP yourself!  So, if you want the VIP treatment, and want to add some cool experiences to your next trip to New York City, give me a call!
