This summer, my 15 year old daughter and I were lucky enough to visit Colombia with my travel partner, Cox and Kings. We visited Bogota, Medellin, and Cartagena. What a wonderful country.
We were so surprised by the transformation of Medellin. All I’d really known of Medellin before our visit was the history of Pablo Escobar, and the horrors that befell that city 15 years ago. Now, the city is safe for tourists to visit. We so enjoyed our private guide, Juan Carlos, who showed off his city with great pride.
