I got to visit and stay at the Fairmont Mayakoba for ILTM (International Luxury Travel Mart) a couple of weeks ago. I had a great time, and loved this hotel. It’s in a great area, sharing the community of Mayakoba with the Rosewood Mayakoba and the Banyan Tree Mayakoba; althought it is much larger than those two. Yet, the shuttles have a way of speeding you around the large resort so that it still has a cozy feel. And, of course, it is a Virtuoso property, so I can VIP you.
