Guest Speaker at "The Geography of Tourism" University of Ottawa Course

What a fun evening – I was recently asked to be a guest speaker for @uottawa #theGeographyofTourism 3rd year university course. The lovely instructor is pictured with me below.- Denisa Georgescu . She’d heard me give a talk on Sustainable Tourism to Ottawa OBEC, and invited me to be a guest speaker for her course at Ottawa University.

I talked to 70 students about #SustainableTourismDevelopment #iy2017 #sustainabletourism#tagsforlikes #igtravel #travelenjoyrespect #lushlife #ottawa Virtuoso Travel

It was inspiring to talk to these young professionals.

Here’s a cool description of course from Denisa’s linked in profile, where she teaches”The Geography of Tourism” in the Geography Department, Faculty of Arts. The course examines tourism as a system and demonstrates how its various parts interact. It also examines the spatial organization of the tourism industry and of travel patterns, various types of tourism, characteristics of tourism demand and supply, tourism market segments, and indicators of sustainable tourism.
