Big Five Tours – 3 Superior Differences

On a recent conference call with Paul Dorgan of Big Five Tours, I was reminded of 3 superior differences with Big Five, as opposed to its competitors.

1.) Authenticity – Big Five is all about providing authentic experiences for clients. They do bespoke trips. So, it’s not about going where all the tourists go. It’s about experiencing the culture, and learning about the people. As their tagline says, “we don’t tell stories better. we tell better stories.” They create tours – they go beyond the main touristy sites to give you a truly authentic experience.

2.) Sustainability – Big Five focuses on sustainable travel. As the above picture shows, lions have decreased from 450,000 to 20,000 over the last 50 years in Africa. Tigers have gone from 45,000 to 3,000. That’s why conservancies are so important. Big Five values sustainability. And it shows.

3.) Service – @bigfivetours also values service. They provide white glove service + concierge service at no extra charge, but they also deal with issues as they arise. It’s lovely to have a report how my clients are doing when they are in the middle of the bush (and therefore, usually inaccessible by internet).   I’ve also had clients had issues arise in the midst of a trip, and I know from experience, that Big Five jumps in and solves the problem as it arises.

I love working with Big Five Tours to create special customized tours for my clients – whether it’s a trip to Costa Rica, a trip to Tanzania, or a trip a Bhutan – they take excellent care of my clients.

Let me know if you’d like to discover the special nature of their authentic, sustainable, and service-oriented trips.  Call me!
